Privacy Policy
We don't collect, store, or sell your data. Everything stays on your device, and any AI calls go directly from your browser to the provider using your key.
Introduction
We designed Quick Resume to be privacy-first. We do not operate a database for your content, run account systems, or proxy your API keys. Your resume content is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on your device only, and is never sent to our servers. If you choose to use AI features, your API key is used only within your browser to call the selected provider and is not stored or transmitted to us.
What We Don't Collect
Account & Profile Information
We do not have accounts and do not collect any profile or personal identifiers.
Usage Analytics
We do not run analytics or tracking beacons and do not collect usage data.
Cookies & Trackers
We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Your data is saved only to your own browser via localStorage (on your device).
How the App Works
Local-Only Storage
Your resume content and preferences are stored only in your browser via localStorage. You can clear them at any time from the app settings or your browser.
Your API Keys
When you use AI features, you provide your own API key (e.g., OpenAI or Google Gemini). We never store, log, or transmit your key to our servers.
Direct Provider Calls
AI requests are sent directly from your browser to the selected provider's API endpoint. No proxying through our servers.
Data Retention
We don't retain any of your data. Everything remains on your device until you clear it.
